This is Konnie the Kodak. I found her at a camera stall for £10. She will be in her 100th year in two days time and for her birthday she is getting some Efke 100.

It is very sad to see Kodak in so much financial trouble (although hardly surprising given their poor showing in the digital market). I own 3 basic Kodak cameras. A Brownie Cresta, Brownie 127 and an Instamatic and I have loved using these fun old cameras. It cannot be overstated how important the company was to the development of amateur photography. I really hope they sort out their troubles.
